General
Yes, members are welcome to bring guests to enjoy the club experience. However, please note that the same guest may not visit the club more than four times per calendar year, regardless of which member hosts them. National Golf Members may bring up to three guests at a time to play golf. These policies help preserve the exclusive nature of our community for all members to enjoy.
Yes, all types of vehicles can access Snake River Sporting Club. However, during the winter months, we highly recommend using an all-wheel drive (AWD) or four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle to ensure safe and reliable access in snowy or icy conditions.
The outdoor infinity pool at the Clubhouse is open Memorial Day through Labor Day Weekend.
Check-in at our new luxury hotel in Jackson Hole begins at 4:00 pm. Check-out is at 10:00 am.
Please check in at the Clubhouse, located at 14885 Sporting Club Rd. Jackson, WY 83001, and we will escort you to your rental property. Please let us know in advance what time you plan to arrive at the property. We do have a late arrival key box located at the front gate, and we will supply you with a code to the gate and the lock box if you are arriving after office hours.
Check-in time is 4:00 pm. Snake River Sporting Club will diligently work to ensure that all properties are clean and ready for occupancy by 4:00 pm. However, it may be necessary to delay occupancy until the property is ready. There are no refunds for late occupancy. Please do not go to the property before checking in unless previous arrangements have been made.
Check-out time is 10:00 am. All properties must be vacated by 10:00 am on your day of departure. If you are planning on participating in any of the Club’s activities, please notify the Lodging team. We ask that you please depart your unit by 10:00 am unless a late departure has been arranged.
An initial deposit equal to 50% of the total stay is due at the time of booking a reservation. The balance is due no later than 45 days prior to arrival. Cancellations must be made at least 45 days prior to arrival to avoid a full forfeiture of the total cost of the stay.

Yes, pets are allowed at the club. However, pets are not permitted in the Clubhouse or at the pool, except for service animals. Pets are allowed on all of our trails, including the cross-country trails. No pets are allowed on the golf course during the operational season of early May to mid-October. Pets are allowed when the golf season is over. Dogs are allowed at The Sylvan Lodge and some of our Jackson Hole luxury vacation home rentals.
Yes, The Spa at The Sylvan Lodge’s expansive 10,000-square-foot sanctuary features eight treatment rooms, an infrared sauna, steam rooms, a polar plunge, an outdoor hot tub and exercise pool, a yoga studio, a movement studio and a relaxation room. The spa also has a modern fitness facility open 24/7 for club members and lodging guests, as well as weekly yoga and Pilates classes.
Yes, there are several grocery stores near Snake River Sporting Club. The town of Jackson, approximately a 30-minute drive north, offers a variety of options
Snake River Sporting Club is an exclusive private club and community reserved for members and their guests. Access to our world-class amenities is limited to those with membership privileges. However, guests staying in one of our luxury lodging accommodations receive temporary access to the club’s exclusive club amenities, activities and dining.
Snake River Sporting Club offers an exclusive selection of memberships tailored to those who seek the finest in luxury, recreation, and adventure:
Regular Membership
For individuals 40 years old and above, and for all homeowners within the club, this membership offers full access to everything the club offers – from golf and dining to wellness and outdoor pursuits. This membership consists of an initiation fee and annual dues and is eligible for a meaningful discount on year-round lodging.
Junior Regular Membership
Individuals may join at a reduced initiation fee and with reduced annual dues obligation until the age of 40. On their fortieth birthday, the membership automatically converts to a Regular Membership with no additional initiation fee, though annual dues will adjust to the Regular Member level.
Sporting Membership (Non Golf)
Designed for those who love the outdoors but don’t have the need to access the golf course. This membership enjoys full access to everything the club offers, except golf.
National Membership
Available to individuals who do not own property within 200 miles from the club. With a maximum of three guests per day of play, this membership offers unlimited golf play when the individual is staying on property, and up to 15 days of golf play when they are not. This membership offers a meaningful discount on year-round lodging.
All memberships include the primary member, spouse or partner and children under the age of 26, ensuring an unparalleled experience for the entire family
Guests staying at The Sylvan Lodge or Cabins at Snake River Sporting Club enjoy temporary club membership during their stay, allowing access to exclusive club amenities, activities and dining. Daily breakfast is included at Englemann’s Bistro for guests staying at The Sylvan Lodge.
Yes, the Snake River Sporting Club offers a shuttle service to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Additionally, we can arrange transportation to and from the airport, as well as to the town of Jackson, for your convenience.
Lodging options available at the Snake River Sporting Club include rooms and suites at The Sylvan Lodge as well as a variety of luxury vacation cabins located throughout the club.

Property Ownership
Yes, many homeowners participate in our property management program. However, if a homeowner chooses not to use Snake River Sporting Club as their property management company, guests staying at their home will not have access to privileges of the club membership for the duration of their stay, granting them access to the club’s premier offerings.

Golf
Yes, we offer a reciprocity agreement with most private golf clubs. The Head Golf Professional must review and sign off on the club and guest. All reciprocity is very limited and based on availability to protect our membership and lodging guests.
Yes, located at the Clubhouse, our Trackman golf simulator is available year-round exclusively for members and lodging guests. This state-of-the-art simulator offers the most accurate data in the game, so you can practice with purpose or play the world’s top courses without ever stepping outside.
Yes, the club offers junior golf clinics throughout the summer as well as private lessons.
Yes, we offer golf clinics such as Ladies Links and Junior Golf Clinics, as well as private lessons with our PGA professional instructors.
Our premier practice facilities include a scenic driving range, a meticulously maintained putting green, and a dedicated chipping area: everything you need to fine-tune your game.
To preserve the tradition and integrity of the game, Snake River Sporting Club maintains a golf course dress code for all players and guests.

The club does not have a caddie program; however, forecaddies are available for your round and may be arranged in advance for a fee and gratuity.
The front nine meanders through the forest and the back nine stretches around native wetlands along the river bottom. The course layout on the front nine is all about target golf, forcing players to hit creative shots. The back nine is wide open, like links-style golf. The difficulty level is high for all 18 holes and requires accurate tee shots, as each hole is outlined with tall native grass.
The private golf course is only open to club members, their guests and lodging guests staying at The Sylvan Lodge or one of the club’s luxury vacation cabins.
