Our conservation-based planning approach allows us to identify all sensitive elements in the landscape and create a master plan to minimize
impact to those elements. On any given day, we may be deep in discussion on the best way to preserve an old tree with failing health, avoid
noise near animal or bird habitats during critical periods or how to restore an historic homesteader's cabin. Our goal is to preserve, restore
and enhance the legacy of the land, always remembering that folks who become members of our club fall in love with the beauty of the raw land,
just as we do.
Snake River Sporting Club was awarded membership to the Audubon International Signature Programs, designed to assist landowners who are committed
to promoting sound land management and natural resource conservation. Upon completion in 2006, the Snake River Sporting Club golf course will
receive the Audubon Silver Signature Golf Course designation and the Club received the Audubon Signature Sanctuary designation for the creative
integration of wildlife management and preservation, habitat restoration and enhancement, and water conservation and water quality protection in
the master plan for the Club.
