After a busy summer season that saw the Grand Opening of our Tom Weiskopf golf course and the addition of several new real estate owners and non-resident members, all of us at the Snake River Sporting Club headed into the winter season and the New Year with high expectations for 2007.

Our long term goals for 2007, however, quickly shifted from next spring and summer to this winter and our newest amenity: our Mountain Lodge at the base of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
Scheduled to open later this winter, the Mountain Lodge was a recent acquisition and an unplanned addition to our menu of facilities. The 2,300 sq. ft. space just uphill from the Aerial Tram will afford our members ski and equipment storage, light fare in a luxurious après ski lounge setting, concierge services and other amenities commensurate with the Snake River Sporting Club. All of us are very excited about having such a premier location at arguably North America’s finest ski resort.
Once the snow melts, construction will begin on our 25,000 sq. ft Members’ Lodge. Located adjacent to Martin Creek and the 1st tee, the Members Lodge will feature private fine dining for our members with an outdoor deck overlooking the course, men’s and women’s locker rooms and our golf pro shop. The Members’ Lodge is scheduled for completion in early 2008. Construction will also begin early this year on seven Lodge Cabins located adjacent to the Members’ Lodge.
This summer, we also anticipate final approval on the 194-acre North Parcel that will house many of our Club facility buildings – including the Spa and Fitness Center, Sports Barn, and Trout House. The 194 acres of Phase II will also include another release of residential home sites.
In the next 12 months, the appearance of the Snake River Sporting Club will undergo a profound physical change as Club facilities and private residences rise from their foundations. In hindsight, we’re hopeful 2007 will be the watershed year when the vision of the Snake River Sporting Club came into crystal clear focus.
Best wishes for 2007,
Brett McPeak, Broker
