On Saturday, August 12th the Snake River Sporting Club will volunteer with Habitat for Humanity to help build a home for a local family.
Staff members will put on tool belts, pick up hammers, and go to work at the construction site for Habitat's Green Building Home, which will be purchased by Rena Trail. She and her daughter Nicole are excited to see their new home taking shape.
Snake River Sporting Club was a sponsor for the second annual "Framing a Future: Adventure Auction to Build a Home". Proceeds from the auction helped to fund the home they will be working on. By volunteering their time and hard work, Snake River Sporting Club is amplifying the effect of their generous financial support.
Our construction site is located at 3915 West Anderson Lane in the Millward Subdivision, off the Moose-Wilson Rd. For more information on how your office can volunteer, please contact Alan Sickner at 307.734.0828 or alan@tetonhabitat.org.
Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Teton Area builds simple, decent homes and sells them at cost with a no-interest loan to low-income families. Homeowners are chosen based on their need for housing, their ability to make a mortgage payment, and their willingness to invest 500 hours of 'sweet equity' into the construction of their home. Habitat can only do its work with the generous support of donors and volunteers.
