2006 Inaugural Season A Success

Following the official July 15th Grand Opening Weekend that included an afternoon with golf course designer Tom Weiskopf, Snake River Sporting Club enjoyed a successful inaugural season on several levels.

To echo Weiskopf's words, The Snake is his finest course in the U.S to date... a sentiment that many of our members and guests shared throughout the summer after experiencing his 18 Holes first hand. More impressive to watch, however, was how the overall environment and energy of the Club came to life following our Grand Opening weekend. Director of Outdoor Pursuits Wills Hobbs and Naturalist Phil Cameron spent countless hours "working" either on the Snake River or in the nearby wilderness of the Bridger-Teton National Forest as they introduced our Members to Wyoming's version of the Sporting Life.

On the real estate sales front, to date we've closed on 20 of the 61 platted home sites in Phase I (the 360-acres that encompasses the golf course) accounting for more than $31M in sales volume. Following last weekend's successful Fall Member-Guest, we have 3 parcels under contract with several more potential buyers currently working with our sales consultants.

As autumn turns to winter, we're working to maintain the momentum and positive traction we've built during the summer and fall. A Winter Member-Guest event is already slated for after the New Year. Between now and 2007, Director of Sales Connie Bilbrey and I will be working with Club General Manager Neal Vohr and the management team to develop additional sales functions both in Jackson Hole and around the country to promote the Snake River Sporting Club.

As our Members' Lodge and other amenity-based facilities structures rise around the property, so too will our sales projections for next year, when we'll also be introducing both our Cabins located near the Lodge, but also the inventory in Phase II.

Thank you for making 2006 such a huge success.
