"If The Jackson Hole Snake River Sporting Club isn't the best piece of property that I have worked on in the US, it is tied for 1st! What makes it such a special piece of property is the Snake River, the canyon, the varieties of large, mature trees on site, and the meadow and wetlands areas. I believe it to be my finest golf course design in the US to-date." –Tom Weiskopf
You can call it your own.
After its Grand Opening in July 2006, The Snake golf course has garnered nothing but rave reviews from members, guests and press alike. It was named a 2006 LINKS Premier Property, "One of the 15 New Golf Communities To Watch" by Luxury Golf & Travel and "#2 Best New Private Golf Course in the Nation" by Golf Digest.
As with all things at Snake River Sporting Club, the sporting life is forever connected to the land, the flora and fauna—and our golf course is no exception. On fall evenings on hole #2, players may hear the distinctive bugles of elk bulls competing for mating rights as they move into the lower elevations for winter. Open country birds of prey can be seen along hole 10 as they effortlessly glide air currents rising up the steep hillside, and elusive forest raptors can be glimpsed near heavily wooded areas such as hole #4.
